We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a large Queensland organisation on a 12-month day-rate contract, supporting the ongoing optimisation, enhancement and effective use of critical business systems.This is an excellent prospect for a senior BA who enjoys working at the intersection of business, technology and continuous improvement, and who can confidently engage with senior stakeholders, technical teams and external vendors to translate complex business needs into practical solutions.
You will play a key role in identifying business improvement opportunities, analysing operational requirements, supporting system enhancements and helping the organisation maximise the value of its existing technology capability.About the RoleLeading business process analysis to identify opportunities for operational improvement and enhanced customer outcomesAnalysing current and future-state processes and developing recommendations for improvementDeveloping business requirements, business rules, process maps, functional specifications and supporting documentationProviding expert advice on Microsoft Dynamics 365 capabilities, with a focus on maximising existing functionality before considering custom solutionsWorking across Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O;) and Microsoft Power PlatformCollaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams and external service providers to investigate and resolve complex business and system issuesAssessing, prioritising and managing business system enhancement requestsSupporting the planning, implementation and evaluation of system releases,



upgrades and enhancementsLeading root cause analysis and identifying sustainable solutions to recurring business and system issuesEnsuring requirements and proposed solutions are appropriately documented and aligned with governance requirementsSupporting stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, business readiness and adoption of process and system changesSupporting UAT, validation activities and post-implementation reviewsMaintaining business analysis artefacts, knowledge repositories and operational documentationProviding mentoring and guidance to other Business Analysts and team membersAbout YouSignificant experience working as a Senior Business Analyst in complex business systems environmentsDemonstrated experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE)Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O;) will be highly regardedStrong experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps, Power Automate and Power PagesExperience working across business-as-usual support, continuous improvement and business systems optimisationStrong business process analysis and process improvement capabilityProven ability to translate business requirements into clear, practical and well-documented solutionsExceptional stakeholder engagement and facilitation skillsThe ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders, technology teams and external vendorsStrong problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilityExperience working within structured governance, service management and change management environmentsThe ability to navigate ambiguity, challenge assumptions and provide trusted advice to stakeholdersThis is an opportunity to join a well-established Queensland organisation where you will have genuine influence over the optimisation and continuous improvement of business-critical systems.
