What will you do?
As our Data Assistant, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the accuracy, completeness and presentation of business listings across Localsearch.com.au - supporting our directory quality, customer experience and search performance.Create new business listings on Localsearch.com.au in line with data standards and formatting guidelinesImprove and edit existing business profiles to enhance their presentation and performance in list viewsReview listings within assigned categories to identify inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or miscategorised informationAdd logos, photos and other visual assets to business profiles, ensuring images meet quality and sizing standardsEnsure listing information such as business name, category, address, contact details and description is accurate and consistent with source dataIdentify and escape duplicate listings, data quality issues or inconsistencies for correctionFollow established workflows and checklists to ensure consistent, high-quality data entry across all categoriesMaintain accurate records of work completed and report on progress against listing and profile targetsLiaise with internal stakeholders, including Sales, SEO and Content teams, where listing or profile updates require additional inputSupport ad-hoc data projects and continuous improvement initiatives as requiredWho are you & what will you bring?

and is keen to build their skills in data and digital marketing.Required:Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entryGood written communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise business descriptionsBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and web-based content management systemsAbility to follow set processes and quality guidelines consistentlyGood time management skills, with the ability to meet daily and weekly targetsNice to have:Prior experience in data entry, digital marketing, directory or content administrationBasic understanding of SEO principles and how listing quality affects search visibilityExperience with image editing or resizing tools (e.g. Canva, Photoshop)Why it's great to work with us!
