This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded analyst who enjoys working with data, solving problems and leveraging technology to deliver meaningful business insights.Reporting to the Corporate Finance team, you will play a key role in supporting management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and performance reporting across the business.
You'll also have the opportunity to work with modern reporting tools, automation solutions and AI-enabled technologies to help improve reporting efficiency and decision-making.About the RoleAs Financial & Business Performance Analyst, you will provide analytical, reporting and business performance support to the Corporate Finance team while partnering with stakeholders across JBS Australia.Key responsibilities include:Assisting with weekly, monthly and quarterly management reporting processesPreparing reporting packs, performance summaries and presentation materialsValidating data from multiple sources and performing reasonableness checks to ensure accuracyMaintaining reporting templates, working files and supporting analysisSupporting business performance analysis and management decision-makingDeveloping dashboards, reports and analytical tools for finance and business stakeholdersSupporting ad hoc analysis requests across Corporate Finance and operational business unitsAssisting with annual budgeting and forecasting cyclesSupporting financial modelling, scenario analysis and forecast consolidationIdentifying opportunities to improve reporting,



automation and analytical capabilitiesUndertaking additional duties consistent with the scope and level of the roleAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related disciplineApproximately 1-3 years' experience in an analyst, finance, commercial, reporting, business intelligence or data-focused roleStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, including working with large and complex datasetsHigh attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrityStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholdersThe ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesA genuine interest in finance transformation, reporting automation and business performance analyticsA proactive, self-motivated approach with robust ownership and accountabilityA collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvementWhile not essential, experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:Power BI, QlikSense, Tableau or similar reporting and visualisation platformsSQL, Python, Power Query, VBA or other analytical and automation toolsSAP, SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systemsAI-enabled productivity, reporting and analytics tools, including Microsoft Copilot or similar technologiesWhy Join JBS Australia?
