Frankie & George Cafe is seeking a passionate and experienced Front of House Assistant Manager to join our team.
This is a full-time position based in Brisbane, QLD ****.
You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting the smooth operation of our busy café.
As Assistant Manager, you will work alongside our management team to ensure outstanding service standards, maintain our reputation for excellence, and contribute to the success of our growing hospitality business.What you'll be doingLeading and supervising front of house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and positive guest experiencesManaging customer interactions with professionalism, warmth and attention to detailAssisting in the training, development and performance management of team membersMaintaining high standards of hospitality, cleanliness and presentation throughout the caféHandling customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally, seeking appropriate resolutionsSupporting the management of café operations, including table management, reservations and seating arrangementsMonitoring and promoting food and beverage offerings to guestsAssisting with rosters,



scheduling and staffing arrangements as requiredContributing to the achievement of service targets and business objectivesSupporting cash handling procedures and point-of-sale system operationsCollaborating with kitchen and management teams to ensure operational efficiencyWhat we're looking forExperienced barista skills and knowledgeProven experience in a front of house or hospitality management role, preferably within a café, restaurant or similar venueStrong leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop staffExcellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitalityAbility to remain calm, organised and professional in a rapid-paced environmentExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of food and beverage service standards and best practicesProficiency with point-of-sale systems and hospitality technologyPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and perform various operational tasksFlexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as requiredA positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to excellenceRelevant hospitality qualifications or certifications are advantageousAbout usFrankie & George Cafe is a cherished destination in Brisbane's hospitality scene, dedicated to delivering exceptional café experiences.
