Join a motivated team that values mentorship, excellence, and teamwork.Position ResponsibilitiesPreparation and review of SMSF Financial StatementsCompletion of SMSF Annual ReturnsPreparation of Tax ReconciliationsReconciliations of investment balances and investment returnsCalculation of pension liabilitiesBAS & IAS Statements as requiredPreparation of electronic workpapersPreparation of audit packages and liaising with external auditorsPreparation of Trustee documentationEnsuring work is completed within budget and time constraintsLiaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients, including the ATO and ASICWork with the Client Director and team to ensure client work is completed within allocated timeframesPreparation of correspondence to clients and other bodies as requiredSupport and mentor junior team members as neededAbout YouMinimum 4 years' experience in SMSF accounting within a chartered accounting practiceStrong technical SMSF knowledge, with the ability to work autonomously and manage your own portfolioAble to work full-time or part-time (minimum three days per week)Hands-on experience with SMSF software such as Class Super or BGL360Confident preparing and reviewing complex SMSF work end-to- endDegree qualified, CA completed or near completionExcellent written and verbal communication, with the confidence to liaise directly with clients and statutory bodiesStrong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlinesA proactive, client-focused approach and the maturity to mentor and support junior team members
