This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled tradespeople with water infrastructure experience to secure ongoing work on Sydney Water sites.What's On Offer:$***** to $*****/hr (Depending on certificates held) + Penalties + AllowancesConsistent 40 +-hour weekswith occasional overtimeOvertime penalties and above industry-standard allowances, ongoing role with the goal & chance for FT employmentWork on major infrastructure projects across Sydney Water sitesRequirements:Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter, ideally in water treatment or similar industrial & construction environments.Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in relevant disciplineWhite Card (Construction Induction Card) - mandatoryWorking at Heights MUSTConfined Spaces MUSTValid Australian work rights (citizen, permanent resident,



or unrestricted visa)Strong understanding and commitment to site safety protocolsGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a teamAble to follow instructions and work autonomously where requiredKey Responsibilities:Perform mechanical maintenance on water treatment equipment and plant machineryMaintain and repair pipes, valves, conveyors, and pumpsAssist with general labouring tasks around the plant as neededSupport daily operations to ensure smooth functionality of the treatment plantParticipate in site toolbox talks and maintain strong safety practices*Project allowance for most areas of the job.
