We are looking for ambitious and commercially minded graduates and students to join a growing commercial finance team as a Graduate Commercial Analyst.This role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis, making it an excellent opportunity for students nearing completion of their studies who want to gain valuable industry experience alongside their degree.This is more than an entry-level analyst role.
You'll work alongside experienced commercial finance professionals, learn how commercial lending works from the ground up, and develop the skills and knowledge required to ultimately build a career as a Commercial Broker.You don't need previous lending or broking experience.
We're looking for smart, motivated people who are confident with numbers, communicate well and are genuinely interested in learning commercial finance.What You'll Be DoingAs a Graduate Commercial Analyst, you'll work closely with the commercial team and gain exposure to the full lending process, including:Assisting with commercial loan applications from initial enquiry through to submissionConducting financial and credit analysisReviewing financial statements and assessing business performanceLearning how to assess lender appetite and credit requirementsAssisting with deal structuring and identifying appropriate lending solutionsPreparing finance proposals and credit submissionsLiaising with lenders, clients and other key stakeholdersManaging and maintaining transaction pipelinesLearning how different lenders,



products and funding structures workSupporting the commercial team across a range of transactions and gaining exposure to increasingly complex dealsYour Career PathwayOur goal is to develop you into a Commercial Broker.You'll initially focus on developing your technical knowledge, commercial understanding and credit skills alongside experienced brokers and analysts.As your knowledge and confidence grows, you'll gradually take on more responsibility, develop client-facing skills and begin working towards managing your own clients and transactions.This is an opportunity to build a long-term career in commercial finance - not remain in an analyst role indefinitely.About YouWe're looking for people who are:Recent graduates or students nearing completion of a Finance, Banking, Commerce, Economics, Accounting or similar degreeCommercially minded and genuinely interested in business and financeStrong with numbers and comfortable analysing financial informationHighly organised with excellent attention to detailConfident communicators who can build relationshipsCurious, proactive and eager to learnAmbitious and motivated to build a career in commercial financeComfortable working in a fast-paced and performance-driven environmentInterested in ultimately becoming a Commercial BrokerPrevious lending, banking or broking experience is not essential.
