The finance function is growing with it.The opportunityWe are adding an Accounts Manager to our finance team.
You will own the day to day accounts function across all group entities.This is a hands on role with genuine ownership.
You will manage accounts payable and receivable end to end, maintain accurate intercompany transactions, and ensure month end reporting is delivered accurately and on time.
It will suit an experienced accounts professional who values structure, accuracy and well maintained financial records across a multi entity group.What you will be doingManage accounts payable and accounts receivable across all group entitiesProcess supplier invoices, run payment runs and resolve supplier queriesOwn debtor collections, follow up overdue accounts and keep DSO under controlComplete bank,
credit card and supplier statement reconciliationsProcess and reconcile intercompany transactions and allocations between entitiesMaintain the general ledger and prepare month end journals for reviewSupport month end close, including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare BAS, IAS, PAYG and superannuation lodgement data for reviewAssist with payroll processing and reconciliation as requiredMaintain accurate records for audit and support the annual audit processImprove accounts processes and controls as the group growsWhat you will bringDemonstrated experience in a similar accounts or finance role, ideally three years or moreExperience managing accounts across multiple entities, including intercompany transactionsStrong working knowledge of Australian GST, BAS and superannuation requirementsConfident with accounting software and strong Excel skillsAccuracy and attention to detail, with the discipline to meet month end deadlinesClear communication with suppliers, customers and internal teamsThe ability to work independently and manage competing prioritiesTertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or commerce, or equivalent experienceExposure to trades, construction or project based businesses is well regardedExperience with Simpro, Salesforce or Employment Hero is an advantage but not essentialWhat we offerA permanent full time role in a reliable, growing Australian businessGenuine ownership of the accounts function across the groupOngoing professional development and supportA collaborative and professional finance teamOn site parking and a modern officeOnly candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered.
