Job DescriptionFacilities Maintenance SupervisorLocation: Werribee, VICDuration: Up to 6 monthsRate:$43 per hour + SuperAbout the RoleReporting to the relevant facilities management team, you will play a key role in coordinating maintenance activities, contractor management, and asset inspections to ensure council facilities remain protected, compliant, functional, and fit for purpose.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate site condition audits across designated property portfoliosCoordinate maintenance works across council facilitiesSupervise contractors and service providers to ensure quality service delivery within agreed timeframesUndertake minor repairs and adjustments where appropriate and safe to do soRespond to maintenance requests and ensure works are accurately logged and tracked through council systemsManage administration of work tasks and financial invoicing requirementsLiaise with building operators, tenants, contractors, and stakeholders to minimise disruption during maintenance activitiesMonitor contractor performance and service quality to achieve value-for-money outcomesInvestigate building-related issues and prepare reports and recommendationsSupport compliance with building regulations, Essential Safety Measures (ESM), asset management standards,



and statutory requirementsAssist with maintenance planning and contribute to annual budget preparationAbout You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:Previous supervisory experience within facilities, building maintenance, or property services environmentsStrong understanding of Essential Safety Measures (ESM) compliance requirementsExperience coordinating contractors across multiple concurrent maintenance activitiesExperience conducting building and asset audits, including maintaining accurate records and documentationStrong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skillsIntermediate Microsoft Office Suite skillsSubstantial experience using Building Maintenance Systems, Financial Systems, Asset Management Systems, and Maintenance Management SystemsAbility to manage competing priorities and work effectively across a diverse property portfolioAt Chandler Macleod, we are committed to fostering a diverse workforce where everyone is welcome.
