You will work closely with Supervisors to promote safe work practices,



coordinate activities and help achieve production targets.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and guidance to production operatorsOperate mining equipment as requiredAssist with coordinating daily work activities across the crewPromote and maintain a strong safety cultureConduct pre-start meetings and support compliance activitiesMonitor production performance and identify improvement opportunitiesLiaise with Supervisors regarding operational requirements and site prioritiesAbout YouExtensive experience in a production mining environmentDemonstrated experience operating production mining equipment, particularly Excavators and DozersPrevious Leading Hand or crew leadership experience highly regardedStrong communication and organisational skillsCommitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvementCurrent RII competencies and relevant operating experienceMacKellar is a leading mining and civil contractor with operations across Australia.
