The organisation operates within the manufacturing sector.About the roleAn opportunity has become available for a Supply Planner to join a close-knit supply chain team within an established consumer products business.
This is a broad, hands-on role covering supply planning, forecasting, purchasing, international vendors, and shipment coordination across Australia and New Zealand.
You will take ownership of a portfolio of more than 500 SKUs, working closely with sales, suppliers, and the wider supply chain team to ensure stock is available at the right time while balancing inventory levels, supplier requirements, and customer demand.Key responsibilitiesManage the monthly forecasting process across Australia and New ZealandMaintain and review 12-month forecasts across a portfolio of 500+ SKUsUpload forecasts into SAP and SAP IBP and monitor forecast accuracyWork closely with Sales and Category Managers to understand upcoming demandRaise and manage purchase orders with overseas suppliersCommunicate regularly with vendors regarding new orders and shipping datesCoordinate container requirements and work with suppliers to optimise shipmentsMonitor supplier and shipping delays, providing timely updates to stakeholders.Skills & experienceProven experience within supply chain, planning, inventory, replenishment, or purchasingStrong Excel skills, including PivotTables and lookup functionsExperience using SAP or another ERP systemStrong analytical and numerical abilityConfidence communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple orders, priorities, and deadlinesGood problem-solving skills and confidence to escalated issues when required.What's in it for youCompetitive salary of $94,000 + superHybrid working arrangement with 2 days from home and 3 days in the officeFree onsite parkingExposure to Australian and Current Zealand supply planning.
