The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior Quality Engineer to join a Utilities project in Neerabup, WA.
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing, managing, and maintaining the project's quality systems to ensure compliance across all construction, subcontractor, and procurement activities.This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional who thrives in a fast-paced project setting and is passionate about driving continuous improvement.This is a local project, Monday to Friday roster but will likely go to 8:6 DIDO in **** when the team moves to a new site.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management SystemManage and oversee Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), including reporting, investigation, and close-outConduct training and inductions on quality systems for project teamsSupport and lead internal audits,
ensuring timely resolution of findingsReview subcontractor documentation to ensure compliance with project quality requirementsParticipate in site inspections and testing activities in line with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)Contribute to monthly quality reporting and management reviewsAbout YouYou will be successful in this role if you have:Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)5 years' experience in multi-disciplinary projects2 years experience in a site-based quality roleStrong knowledge of engineering systems (mechanical or electrical)Excellent organisational and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsWhy Join UGL?
