This is a casual role (November - April), leading the day-to-day operations of a much-loved community facility.The RoleAs Centre Manager, you'll take ownership of the pool's operational, financial and program deliverables, ensuring a safe, welcoming and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
You'll lead a passionate team, drive performance, and maintain solid relationships with the local Council and community stakeholders.This role is hands-on, varied and rewarding - perfect for someone who thrives on leading people, achieving results and creating positive community outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors through effective policies, processes and complianceLead, coach and develop the team to achieve KPIs and deliver excellent customer serviceDrive a high-performance, community-focused culture with visible, supportive leadershipDeliver against operational and financial targetsBuild and maintain robust relationships with local CouncilRecruit and develop passionate staff, supporting clear career progression pathwaysMaintain facilities to approved standards in line with contract requirementsAbout YouYou are an up-and-coming leader with energy, vision and a passion for leisure.

you'll set the standard for excellence this season.Skills & QualificationsPrevious leadership or management experience in a leisure/aquatic facility (or similar)Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to achieve win–win outcomesSound knowledge of health & safety legislationExperience in operational, financial and people planningCurrent CPR and First Aid (Level 2) certificatesNational Police Check & Working with Vulnerable People CheckLegal working rights in AustraliaPool Operations Certificate – highly regarded (not essential)Pool Lifeguard Certificate – or ability to complete courseWhy Join Us?
