Team Transport & Logistics is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to join our growing organisation.
This is a full-time position based in Acacia Ridge.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth along with the existing sales team, and developing strategic partnerships to expand our market presence in the transport and logistics industry.
This role is pivotal in achieving our company's revenue targets and establishing Team Transport & Logistics as a leading service provider in the region.Key responsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the transport and logistics sectorBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clientsManage the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting of revenueManage CRM database to ensure all leads and opportunities are being pursued.Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and insightsCollaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clientsConduct market research to identify industry trends and competitive opportunitiesRespond to client inquiries and manage complex negotiations to secure contractsWhat we're looking forProven track record of 5+ years in business development within the transport and logistics industry.Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targetsExperience with motivating and developing staffExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholdersProficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
