The Role
Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will support numerous accounting functions, including payroll and also assist with the below financial duties:
Post monthly accruals and fortnightly payroll journalsUndertake payroll operations by processing fortnightly adjustments including superannuation, salary packaging, leave entitlements and WorkCoverSupport audit processes by preparing and delivering payroll‐related documentsMonitor corporate credit card expenditure,



ensuring invoices and receipts are approved via the correct delegation policyAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable and follow up any outstanding accountsManage timely preparation of program invoices, and ensure payment confirmations are communicated to relevant stakeholders
Skills Required
You will have demonstrated experience using accounting systems, ideally from a not‐for‐profit workplace.
You will also have the following skills:
Experience with payroll processing and using payroll software, including attendance and timeHave a strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skillsUnderstanding of AP and AR processesHold a Working with Children Check and current criminal records check with ongoing validityTertiary qualifications in finance or accountingDesirable to be CPA Qualified and experience using Xero or Elmo payroll system
