The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded Australian property group in a broad and hands-on Bookkeeper position.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations across a growing group of entities, playing a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the continued growth of the business.
This is a wide-ranging position offering exposure across the full accounting cycle, ideal for an experienced Bookkeeper or Accountant who enjoys taking ownership and working autonomously.
The Challenge
Reporting to senior stakeholders, your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining accurate financial records across multiple entities and business unitsManaging the full accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsProcessing invoices, payments and day-to-day financial transactionsCompleting daily and monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliationsPreparing and lodging BAS,



GST and other compliance requirementsAssisting with the maintenance and improvement of the chart of accountsCleaning up existing bookkeeping records and implementing improved processesEnsuring consistency and accuracy of financial information across the business
The Expertise
Please consider applying if you possess the following:
2+ years' experience in a Bookkeeping, Accounts All-Rounder or similar accounting roleStrong experience across AP, AR, reconciliations and general bookkeepingStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyAbility to work autonomously and take ownership of responsibilitiesStrong communication skills and confidence liaising directly with business owners and senior stakeholdersExposure to Xero (highly regarded)
