The role ALS Environmental is offering a unique opportunity for a full-time Field Technician to join our Chinchilla-based team.
This is a key role supporting high-profile CSG clients and is ideally suited to a motivated individual with a strong willingness to learn.
In return, you'll benefit from comprehensive on-the-job training, including first aid certification, defensive 4WD driving courses, and hands‐on experience with our testing methods, sampling protocols, and client reporting systems.
The successful applicant will be based in Chinchilla and is responsible for completing field sampling services within the Surat and Bowen Basin regions.Day to DayDriving light vehicles with various specialised field monitoring equipmentInputting important information to various data platformsMonitoring and maintaining equipment (both hardware and software)Maintaining and building on relationships with Land Access supervisors, Field Superintendents and Area OwnersComplying with specific Land Access RulesCSG water and gas samplingPotable water samplingWater Treatment Plant samplingEnvironmental samplingPermit creation and managementIdentifying opportunities with our Client Services team to expand or improve our Client services and scope where applicable from your on the ground observations and insightsAbout youA current manual driver's licenseField experience in the CSG Industry is desired but not essentialIndustry Safety Induction for the CSG Industry or equivalent desired but not essentialPersonal/Mechanical Isolation experience desired but not essentialExperience in work permit creation and management desired but not essentialStrong communication skillsGood written and verbal ability, and rapport building strength to nurture strong relationships with clientsGood organisational skillsLocal knowledge of the Darling Downs,

The standard working days are Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm.
