We are seeking a highly motivated Exploration Geologist/GIS and Database Administrator responsible for drilling supervision and Geospatial, GIS and Database administration.What the role entails:Reporting to the Exploration Manager, you will be part of a highly motivated and successful Geology team.
You will be responsible for:Drilling supervision as requiredAdministration of Chinova's Geobank databaseField data coordination and integrationMaintain the standard suite of GIS products with the latest information:Timely reporting of analytical data as it becomes availableDevelopment and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)GIS ManagementSample and despatch proceduresQAQC protocolsTo succeed in this role, you will have:Bachelor of Science with Honours in GeologyMinimum of 3 years' relevant experience in Geology and GIS/Database managementExperience with drilling supervisionExperience in using GIS and 3D modelling software (Micromine, MapInfo, QGIS)Experience in data management and quality controlExperience with using database package (Geobank, acQuire)Ability to produce maps and diagrams for corporate use
