In the first 3 months of this Anaesthetic Training Program, you will have the chance to undertake observational training with a senior anaesthetic nurse, rotating between selected clinical areas, complete a CEWD led 5-day course focused on transitioning nurses into perioperative environments, including anaesthetics.For the first six months, the role will involve shift work before transitioning to a rotating roster.

Understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.Commitment to person centred care and NSW Health Core Values.Effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.A minimum of 3 years' experience in a critical care area or ward experience in a major surgical specialty.Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster, with participation of on-calls, night and weekend shifts.All candidates must have full working rights within AustraliaBenefits and Perks!
