Our client based in Smeaton Grange is recruiting an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations in a Growing Steel Distribution Business.Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, loaded, and dispatched accurately and on time.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated warehouse professional who enjoys leading from the front, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong commitment to safety, productivity, and customer service.Key Responsibilities:Support the Operations Manager in the daily planning and coordination of warehouse operationsOrganise and coordinate daily transport runs and customer deliveriesOversee the effective picking, packing, and dispatch of customer ordersEnsure trucks are loaded safely, accurately, and in accordance with load requirementsVerify order accuracy and material quantities before dispatchSupervise warehouse and yard personnel throughout daily operationsAllocate tasks and monitor team productivity and performanceCoordinate incoming and outgoing stock movementsAssist with stock control, inventory accuracy, and cycle countsMaintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environmentEnsure all workplace health and safety procedures are followedLiaise effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, production personnel,
