Supported Independent Living (SIL) is supporting people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living assistance.
You can expect to work across a 24/7 roster.We are currently looking to fill positions in the Penrith area.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport clients with mental health challenges, complex needs, and high behavioursAssist with personal care tasks (e.g. bathing, dressing) and manual handlingAvailability for short-notice shifts and sleepovers is essentialImplement person-centred active supportAbility to follow behaviour support plansLog daily care and changes in needs to ensure informed, coordinated supportSkills & ExperienceAn unrestricted Recent South Wales driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicleDemonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktopA current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.Pay rates starting from $***** (casual) as per the SCHADS AwardAccess to employee assistance programs (EAP) and Fitness Passport for personal wellbeingEnjoy salary packaging on everyday living expenses (including mortgage, rent and bills)
