We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join our People & Culture team in a full time position, supporting employees and managers across a growing, multi-site organisation.This is a hands‐on HR role suited to someone who has experience across the employee lifecycle and is confident providing practical HR support on a range of employee and workplace matters.About the RoleAs HR Coordinator, you will work closely with managers, employees and the wider People & Culture team across a broad range of HR activities, including:Providing day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employeesSupporting employee relations matters, including performance, conduct, attendance and workplace issuesAssisting managers with probation and performance review processesProviding support and guidance on Fair Work matters, employment conditions and relevant Modern AwardsInterpreting and applying the National Employment Standards and relevant employment legislationSupporting workers compensation and return-to-work mattersAssisting with injury management and maintaining communication with employees, managers, insurers and other relevant stakeholdersSupporting workplace investigations and employee relations processesCoordinating employee onboarding and offboardingPreparing employment contracts, letters, variations and other HR documentationMaintaining accurate employee records and HR systemsCoordinating pre-employment checks and compliance requirementsMonitoring employee qualifications, accreditation, training and other required documentationProcessing employee changes including transfers, promotions and changes to employment conditionsSupporting Payroll with employee information and changesMaintaining accurate employee information in HR systems, including TandaAssisting with Learning & Development and training administrationPreparing HR reports and supporting HR projects,
audits and compliance activitiesFollowing up outstanding HR actions and documentationProviding general HR support to the wider People & Culture teamAbout YouWe are looking for someone who has previous experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar role and is comfortable working across a broad range of HR responsibilities.You will ideally have:Experience in early childhood education and care will be highly regarded, particularly candidates who understand the workforce, compliance and regulatory requirements of operating across multiple services.Experience dealing with Fair Work and employment legislationWorking knowledge of the National Employment Standards and Modern AwardsExperience supporting workers compensation and return-to-work mattersExperience with employee relations, performance management, conduct and attendance mattersStrong HR administration and organisational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing prioritiesConfidence communicating with employees and managers at all levelsAn understanding of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee informationExperience working with HRIS and payroll systemsThe ability to learn new systems and processes quicklyA proactive approach and the ability to follow matters through to completionA practical, people‐focused approachThe ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative teamWhat's on Offer?
