This role focuses on providing outstanding patient care across our hospital teams including in wards, surgery and medicine.Your primary responsibilities will include:Delivering quality nursing care in general wards and specialty areas, ensuring a smooth workflow and superior patient experienceMonitoring and assisting with patient care including TPRs,
following treatments protocols and medication administrationSupporting surgical and emergency teams to achieve excellent patient outcomesUtilising advanced diagnostic and medical equipment in collaboration with the wider hospital teamWe have 2 part time positions available (30 hours per week) with a rotating roster that covers Monday to Friday (6 am to 8 pm) and includes rotational weekend shifts.Requirements of the Role:Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or a Bachelor of Veterinary TechnologyMinimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in Veterinary NursingPassion for delivering high-quality patient care with attention to detailExtensive knowledge of veterinary nursing procedures and terminologyConfidence in anaesthesia recovery and basic monitoringAdaptability and the ability to work both independently and collaborativelyProven ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situationsWhy Join QVS?
