Support student needs, incorporate ICT, respect cultures, involve parents, and maintain inclusive,



disciplined classrooms that promote excellence.Assessment and ReportingFollow assessment and reporting policies, use feedback to improve practices, apply diverse assessment strategies, provide timely feedback, participate in moderation, and maintain clear records of student progress.Pastoral CareEngage in pastoral care and co-curricular activities, model Christian values, communicate respectfully with students, staff, and parents, maintain confidentiality, collaborate with specialists, and provide support to colleagues.Policy ImplementationThe role involves contributing to and implementing College policies in a developmentally appropriate way, ensuring student wellbeing and safety through adherence to school, curriculum, and legislative requirements.
It also includes monitoring and minimising risks through the College's risk management procedures, promoting the safe and ethical use of ICT in teaching, and supporting the College's Christian ethos.
Additionally, the role requires compliance with relevant laws, ethical standards, and regulations set by authorities and the College.Sport and Co-CurricularParticipate in co-curricular and sporting activities both during and outside of College hours.
It includes planning and delivering a consistent,



relevant program in collaboration with the Director of Sport and Head of School, while ensuring proper duty of care and supervision for students.
This applies to fixed term block appointments but not day casuals.Desired Skills and ExperienceWho are you?
Qualification in education and be registered withThe NSW Institute of Teachers/NESAExperience and demonstrated success teaching in either TAS or Maths.Ability to infuse the Christian ethos into teaching practiceDemonstrated ability to successfully develop, implement and assess the TAS or Maths CurriculumQualified with a degree in Secondary or Primary EducationBe a highly cooperative, energetic and confident team player with outstanding communication skillsPropensity to recognise the value and uniqueness of each individual within the College communityCommitment to one's own ongoing learningProfessional and personal integrityBeing flexible and open to changeBeing proactive and innovativeEffective interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work in a collaborative environmentWhere do you fit in?
