Job DescriptionWe're looking for a couple of great people to join our small team at Federation Chocolate and Every Man and His Dog Vineyard in Richmond.This is a varied, hands‐on hospitality role, primarily looking after our guests in our cafe.We're a small family business, so attitude, reliability and fitting into our team are really important to us.
We're looking for people who are happy to pitch in, can work confidently without constant supervision and are flexible enough to help wherever they're needed.What you'll be doingWelcoming and looking after our guestsTaking orders and serving food, wine, coffee and chocolateClearing, cleaning and resetting tablesWashing dishes and glasswarePreparing straightforward food, pizzas and plattersKeeping our cafe, cellar door and guest areas clean and presentableRetail salesAssisting with wine and chocolate tastingsOccasionally helping package and label chocolatePitching in with whatever needs doing to keep things running smoothlyThe person we're looking forWe're looking for someone who:Is friendly, positive and genuinely enjoys looking after peopleIs reliable and turns up ready to workWorks well as part of a small teamCan work independently and unsupervisedCan see what needs doing and gets on with itIs flexible and comfortable moving between different tasksIs happy to clean,



clear tables and wash up as part of the jobTakes pride in keeping things clean and well presentedRemains calm and helpful when things get busyIs willing to learn about our wine and chocolatePrevious hospitality experience is an advantage, but we're more interested in finding the right people who will become a great part of our team.Regular weekend availability is important, and some public holiday work will be required.A current Tasmanian RSA is required for serving alcohol.A little about usFederation Chocolate and Every Man and His Dog Vineyard are family-owned businesses operating together from our vineyard and chocolate factory in Richmond.We make our own bean‐to‐bar chocolate, grow and make our own wine, serve food and run chocolate and wine experiences for visitors from Tasmania and around the world.Because we're a small team, there's plenty of variety.
