Keep production moving.Our client is a well established engineering and manufacturing business looking for a hands on Production Manager to take ownership of their workshop and production operationsThis is a hands on leadership role where you'll be responsible for keeping production on track, people accountable and- most importantly- ensuring the quality of work leaving the workshop is consistently up to standard.The role- what you'll be responsible for:Leading daily workshop and production activitiesManaging production schedules, labour and workflowDriving quality control across all stages of productionEnsuring work meets engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirementsOverseeing inspections, identifying defects and reducing reworkInvestigating recurring quality issues and implementing improvementsWorking closely with the Workshop Supervisor to lead and develop the teamMonitoring productivity, safety, costs and project deliveryKeeping plant and equipment maintained and production movingWhat you'll bringExperience leading a manufacturing, fabrication,
