With a safety-first mentality this is a diverse role, and you will be an important member of a team that's been successfully working in the Illawarra for over 20 years.Key responsibilitiesAssist in the surface preparation of steel works including grinding and abrasive blasting, cutting of ceramic tiles and operation of brick saws, set up of electrical toolsAssist with the mixing and application of epoxy adhesives and coatingsAssist tradesmen by performing duties related to industrial tilingAssist and perform confined space entry and gas monitoringTransport materials, tools,
and supplies as required to and from siteDrive vehicles as required plus loading and unloadingSafe use of power, hand tools, and equipmentAbout youSafety-first mentality, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and productive workspacePreferably you have substantiated a minimum 1-3 years' experience in similar rolesYou are a strong team playerYou are proactive and demonstrate positive timekeeping and reliabilityYou have a solid demonstrated commitment to safetyAustralian Driver's LicenseAttractive hourly rates (industry skilled $36-$39) (unskilled $32-$35)Large variety of workPlenty of overtime availableCasual positions with an immediate startOngoing internal and external training and upskilling opportunities
