headspace Early Psychosis is a youth and family-friendly mental health service supporting young people aged ***** years who are experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, a first episode of psychosis.
Our multidisciplinary team delivers evidence-based, recovery-focused care, supporting young people and their families through assessment, intervention, and ongoing support.The Mobile Assessment and Treatment Team (MATT) and Continuing Care Team (CCT) provide assertive outreach, crisis management, and intensive engagement.
Together, they play a vital role in helping young people navigate complex challenges and create pathways to recovery.Your role, your impact As a Mental Health Clinician, you'll play a vital role in supporting young people experiencing or at risk of early psychosis.
Acting as a key support throughout their episode of care, you'll provide clinical assessment, case management, evidence-based interventions and family-focused support that helps young people achieve their recovery goals.Key responsibilities:Provideclinical assessment, intervention, crisis management, and therapy to young peoplePromotefamily involvement in care and treatment planningEngageclients, carers,



and families in cooperative treatment and reviewStrengthenshared care models and partnerships with other service providersDeliver evidence-based interventions aligned with the EPPIC frameworkCollaborate with multidisciplinary professionals and external agencies to support integrated care and improve outcomes for young peopleSupportprofessional development and contribute to research and evaluationFostera supportive, inclusive team cultureAbout you To thrive in this role, you'll have:Approved tertiary qualification/s in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Social Work, with eligibility for registration or membership with the relevant professional bodyExperience in clinical assessment, intervention, and case management with young peopleStrong engagement skills for working with young people and familiesAbility to provide flexible outreach servicesUnderstanding of relevant legislation and recovery-oriented careCommitment to inclusive, culturally safe practiceValid driver's licenceWhat will make you stand outExperience in early psychosis or youth mental healthExperience contributing to service planning, development, implementation, or evaluationExperience participating in research, quality improvement, service innovation, or clinical supervision activitiesWhat's in it for you At Each you'll be supported to be your best.
