Rae Recruitment is excited to partner with a well-established, 40-staff accounting firm in Parkville to recruit an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their team.This is a great opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper who enjoys taking ownership of their work, building genuine relationships with clients and being part of a supportive, close-knit firm.You'll work across a varied client base and have plenty of direct client contact, including face-to-face meetings, while being trusted to manage your workload with a good level of autonomy.What you'll be doing:Managing bookkeeping requirements across a diverse portfolio of clientsPreparing BAS and completing reconciliationsManaging payroll for a range of businessesAccounts payable and receivableGeneral ledger and month-end bookkeepingWorking across MYOB and XeroAssisting with the preparation and lodgement of Income Tax ReturnsLiaising directly with clients and attending client meetingsEnsuring client records and files remain accurate and compliantWho we're looking for:Around 4+ years' bookkeeping experiencePublic practice experience will be highly regardedConfidence communicating directly with clientsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsComfortable managing your own workload and prioritiesSomeone who enjoys being part of a collaborative and supportive teamWhy consider this firm:1 day WFH per week following probationEstablished, stable firm of approximately 40 staffVaried client portfolio and plenty of direct client interactionSupportive and approachable Managing DirectorClose-knit team where your contribution will be valuedGenuine autonomy without being left unsupportedConvenient Parkville location with public transport and parking options nearby","IsExpired":false}
