You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for civil and structural projects, from the initial tender review through to submission and handover.Key responsibilitiesReviewing tender documents, drawings, specifications and scopes of workCompleting detailed quantity take-offsPreparing labour, plant, material and subcontractor cost estimatesObtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotationsIdentifying project risks, exclusions, opportunities and cost-saving alternativesPreparing tender submissions, clarifications and supporting documentationWorking closely with the Director, engineers, supervisors and project teamsAttending tender briefings and site inspections when requiredMaintaining estimating records, rates and supplier informationAssisting with tender handovers following successful awardsAbout youPrevious estimating experience within civil construction, structural concrete or infrastructureStrong knowledge of concrete works, formwork,
