Stuartholme School is a Catholic day and boarding school situated in Toowong, Brisbane.Registered Nurses support our Boarding students while they live on campus for their secondary schooling.
Nurses also support day students and staff throughout school terms.The roles are rewarding for those with a solid sense of community, and who enjoy working with adolescents.ROLE PURPOSEThe Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of nursing care and coordination of health care of the students in the Boarding House and, during the school day, providing primary health care to students and staff.You will be responsible for:Care of StudentsEmergency First AidCommunication with parents, Dean of Boarding and Dean of Student WellbeingDocumentationIt's important that your experience has developed your ability to work independently,



triage and make decisions about treatment.Experience in boarding house or residential care will be beneficial though not mandatory.This is an ongoing role (during school terms in ****) commencing 17th and 18th October and every second weekend after that until 27 November ****, working the following shifts-Saturday 4:30pm - 9:30 pmSunday 4:30pm – 9:30pmAnd on call from 8am Saturday until 7:30am MondayOther casual shifts may be available during the week.Shifts for **** will be considered by the end of November and further employment in **** is possible.Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.As this is role is in an all-girls dormitory, only female candidates will be considered (in accord with the relevant legislation).
