and general comfortMonitoring and reporting on clients' health and wellbeingEngaging clients in social and recreational activitiesMaintaining accurate care records and communication logsProviding emotional support and companionshipAssisting with domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparationSupporting clients during medical or allied health appointmentsPromoting independence by assisting clients to develop daily living and life skillsAssisting in the implementation of care plans developed by health professionalsUsing mobility aids and hoists safely and correctly when requiredFlexibility to travel between client locations (for community care roles)Skills and Experience RequiredCertificate III or higher in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalentMinimum 12 months' relevant work experience required Australia/OverseasCurrent First Aid and CPR certificateNational Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and in a teamEmpathy, patience, and a robust commitment to quality careDesirableExperience working with elderly clients or people with disabilitiesValid driver's licence and access to a vehicle (for community care roles)Multilingual abilities a plusAbility to work various shifts including weekends and public holidaysWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefitsSupportive and inclusive team cultureOngoing professional development and trainingOpportunities for career advancementFlexible working arrangements
