You'll manage the packing room lead and the team beneath them, working closely with the Factory Manager to keep the line moving and adjust quickly when something threatens to hold up an order.
It's a role that carries real weight day to day, since a hold-up here has an immediate, visible impact on what actually reaches the customer.
Consistency matters here as much as anything - keeping output steady shift after shift rather than firefighting one-off problems.
You'll also have a hand in developing the room lead and line leads beneath you, building capability across the team as the site continues to grow.Key responsibilitiesLead live production and output across the packing roomEnsure on-time,
in-full output to meet customer dispatch deadlinesConduct safety/GMP walks and daily team huddlesSupport rostering and timesheet oversight alongside the Factory ManagerReport on KPIs - tonnage, cost per kilo, labour headcountIdentify and drive continuous incremental improvementsAbout youYou know how to keep a quick-moving team on track under pressure without losing sight of the people doing the work.
