Transit Tech Aus pty ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis at our Homebush, NSW location.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and repairing light vehicles to the highest standards.
As a Light Vehicle Mechanic, you will play a vital part in ensuring our clients' vehicles are safe, reliable and performing optimally.
This position is central to our operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction and safety on the road.Key responsibilitiesDiagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and testing proceduresPerform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections and fluid top-upsRepair and replace vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems and braking systemMaintain accurate records of work completed and parts usedAdhere to all safety protocols and workshop proceduresKeep work areas clean and organised, managing tools and equipment responsiblyCollaborate with colleagues to meet workshop deadlines and targetsWhat we're looking forA current automotive trade qualification or equivalent (such as a Certificate III or IV in Automotive Mechanical Technology)Proven experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic, ideally 4+ years in a similar roleStrong knowledge of light vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes,
