you'll take care of much of the preparation and general hands-on work within our paint and panel area.Your day-to-day work will include:Preparing forklifts and equipment for paintingSanding and surface preparationCleaning and preparing equipment before and after paint workAssisting the Spray Painter with jobs as requiredHelping to keep our rental fleet presented to a high standardKeeping the paint and preparation area, tools and equipment clean and organisedProviding occasional general workshop assistance when requiredWorking safely and following workshop proceduresAbout YouYou don't need to be a qualified tradesperson.
We're looking for someone who is reliable, hands-on and takes pride in their work.You'll ideally bring:Previous experience in a workshop, automotive, paint preparation or similar hands-on environment, although this is not essentialConfidence using common hand and power tools safelyGood attention to detail and pride in producing quality workA practical approach and willingness to learnReliability and a strong work ethicThe ability to work well as part of a teamWe thank all applicants for their interest in Waverley Forklifts.
