The role focuses on early intervention to bring accounts back into good standing and is best suited to someone with at least one year similar experience.The ResponsibilitiesManage a high-volume portfolio 300+ overdue accounts across consumer and commerical financeConduct proactive outbound contact to understand customer circumstances, negotiate solutionsManage daily workflows for accounts entering arrearsAssess affordability, including basic financial and hardship considerations.Negotiate realistic short-term payment arrangements aligned with policy and customer capacityAchieve performance targets relating to recovery rates, arrangement adherence, contact quality, and portfolio resolution.The successful applicant will have:1+ years experience in a similar collections role, ideally in financial services or debt purchasing firmsExposure to both consumer and commercial portfolios advantageousExcellent communication skills, with the ability to manage difficult conversations professionallyThe ability to manage competing priorities and improve processes proactively.
