We are seeking an experienced EL1 Technical Business Analyst to join a major Federal Government data and analytics transformation program on a 12-month contract.This role will bridge business and technology teams, leading the development of business and technical requirements and helping translate complex business needs into practical data and technology solutions.Key responsibilitiesLead business and technical requirements development across large-scale data and analytics programsDevelop traceability frameworks linking deliverables to business outcomesDocument complex data flows, processes and technical requirementsTranslate business needs into technical specifications and solution designsFacilitate stakeholder workshops and working groupsContribute to the design and implementation of data and analytics solutionsWork across business,



technical and vendor teams in an Agile environmentIdeally you will have the following:Solid experience delivering business and technical requirements within data and analytics programsExperience with cloud data platforms, data architecture, ETL, governance and securityStrong data flow and process modelling capabilityExperience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, Word and PowerPointPractical Agile experience, including epics, user stories and backlog managementExperience with SQL, Python, SAS Viya or similar technologies is highly regardedEligibility:Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
Successful candidates will be required to provide evidence of citizenship as part of the pre-engagement process.This role will be offered as an initial12 month contract + 12 month extension option.
