Drive continuous improvement.Mesh & Bar is a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of reinforcing steel and mesh products, supporting residential, commercial and infrastructure projects across the country.
We are currently looking for an experienced Health, Safety, Quality & Training Manager to lead HSQT across our NSW operations.Supporting Mesh & Bar, Concrete Industry Supplies, Meshworks and Builder's Trade Centres, this is a hands‐on role for someone who enjoys being out in the business, partnering with operational leaders and teams to improve safety, training and quality across our sites.The roleYou'll take ownership of HSQT across NSW, including:Driving improvements to our WHS and Quality Management SystemsConducting site audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigationsDeveloping SOPs, work instructions and practical safety documentationManaging workers compensation, injury management and return to workMaintaining and delivering the NSW training planIdentifying training and competency gaps across our workforceDeveloping and delivering safety, quality and operational trainingMaintaining ISO ****, ACRS and SSA certificationsManaging non-conformances, corrective actions and quality reportingSupporting product quality requirements and AS**** complianceContributing to national safety, quality and training initiativesReporting into the NSW GM, working closely with Branch Managers and operational teams across NSW,
as well as our National SHEQ Manager.About youWe're looking for someone who can connect with people on the floor just as comfortably as they can work with senior leaders.You'll ideally bring:Safety/WHS experience within heavy manufacturing, steel, construction, logistics or a similar operational environmentStrong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and safety systemsExperience developing and delivering workplace trainingConfidence conducting investigations, audits and site inspectionsExposure to quality management systems and ISO ****Robust communication and stakeholder management skillsA practical, solutions‐focused approach to safety and trainingExperience with ACRS, AS**** or reinforcing steel would be highly regarded but isn't essential.Why Mesh & Bar?
