We are looking for a medical receptionist to join our team at Sunshine Coast General Surgeons.
It is a fast paced and dynamic practice, based at Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

As such, we welcome applications from candidates across a range of experience levels, from entry-level through to senior receptionists, and will appoint the applicant who is the best fit for our practice.This part-time position requires ***** hours per week.What you'll be doingProviding exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all patientsScheduling and coordinating patient appointmentsHandling patient inquiries and providing information about our servicesMaintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and filesAssisting with billing, insurance claims, and other financial tasksLiaising with other healthcare providers and specialists as requiredPerforming various administrative tasks to support the practiceCoordinating with the medical team to ensure smooth office operationsMaintaining confidentiality and adhering to all relevant medical regulations and policiesWhat we're looking forSome experience as a medical receptionist or patient-facing roles.Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities,



with the capacity to prioritise and manage a busy workloadStrong customer service and communication skillsProficient in using Microsoft office applications.Some experience in using medical practice management software.
