Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, this is an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join a collaborative payroll team supporting employees across multiple manufacturing sites.
In this role, you'll help ensure our people are paid correctly and on time while providing a high level of service and support across the business.
Working across payroll, timekeeping and HR systems, you'll support weekly payroll activities, maintain employee records and assist with the application of Awards, Enterprise Agreements and payroll legislation.
You'll also work closely with site teams, HR, Finance and workforce planning stakeholders to resolve queries and support smooth payroll operations.
This is an opportunity to build your payroll capability within a large Australian business,



gain exposure to leading payroll technologies and contribute to initiatives that improve processes and ways of working.
What You Will Do
Support the end-to-end processing of weekly payrolls across multiple manufacturing sitesMaintain accurate employee, payroll and timekeeping records across multiple systemsSupport the interpretation and application of Awards, Enterprise Agreements and payroll conditions to ensure accurate outcomesProcess payroll calculations relating to overtime, leave, terminations, deductions and adjustmentsRespond to employee and stakeholder payroll enquiries with a strong customer focusWork closely with HR, Finance, workforce planners and operational leaders to support payroll accuracy and issue resolutionAssist with payroll reconciliations, compliance activities and audit requirementsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and payroll-related projects as opportunities arise
About You
Experience in payroll processing, payroll administration or a similar payroll support roleExposure to Awards, Enterprise Agreements or payroll legislation within AustraliaExperience with ADP, UKG Dimensions, SuccessFactors, SAP or similar systems will be highly regardedStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and confidentialityExcellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing prioritiesStrong communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused approachAbility to work independently while contributing positively to a team environmentA proactive, solutions-focused mindset and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
