The role is responsible for assisting with file administration, client communication, evidence gathering, document preparation, and ensuring matters progress efficiently.
The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, client-focused service.What's InvolvedOpen new matters and ensure correct file setupMaintain up-to-date, organised, and correctly named electronic filesMonitor and diarise critical dates, statutory time limits, and court deadlinesAssist in preparing briefs to counsel and medical expertsMaintain regular contact with clients, providing updates and collecting information when requiredAssist with completing statutory forms and obtaining supporting documentation (e.g., Medicare/Centrelink/ATO)Prepare routine correspondence to obtain medical records, employment files, and other relevant documentsAssist solicitors in preparing legal advice by compiling authorities and referencesFollow up outstanding requests and ensure timely receipt of required informationAssist with preparation for mediations, settlement conferences,
