You're passionate about being part of a team that delivers impactful health and safety outcomes so that everyone goes home safely every day.In this role, you'll:Provide specialist health and safety assurance across complex civil and rail environmentsAnalyse H&S; data to identify trends, insights and assurance themesLead and oversee internal and external assurance engagementsVerify the effectiveness of critical risk controls and governance arrangementsProvide independent assurance over action close out and risk outcomesPrepare concise, evidence based reports for executive and Board audiencesPartner with internal teams, SMEs and external providers to ensure assurance qualityFor more information on this position and business unit, view the role descriptionandinformation packAbout youProven experience in health and safety assurance, risk or performance reporting within complex or regulated environmentsStrong capability in data analysis and insight development,



including advanced use of Excel and Power BI dashboardsExperience leading or overseeing assurance engagements (internal or external), rather than frontline compliance auditingExposure to:Rail projects and rail safety environmentsHeavy vehicle complianceOccupational health and hygiene risks and controlsProven experience preparing assurance reports, translating complex information into clear assurance narratives.Qualifications:Tertiary qualification (minimum Cert IV WHS or Rail Safety)Experience working in government, large infrastructure programs or highly regulated industries (desirable)Who we areTransport for NSW provides a safe, integrated, and efficient transport system.
