This is a full-time position based in Brisbane.
As a Qualified Carpenter, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional carpentry services and home modifications to our clients.
Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential to maintaining our reputation for quality workmanship and ensuring client satisfaction on every project.Key responsibilitiesExecuting carpentry work including framing, finishing, installation and repairs on residential and commercial projectsMeasuring, cutting and shaping timber and other materials with precision to meet project specificationsInstalling doors, windows, skirtings, architraves and other timber fixtures and fittingsInstalling home modifications across the NDIS and aged care industryReading and interpreting architectural drawings, plans and specifications accuratelyEnsuring all work complies with relevant building codes,



standards and safety regulationsUsing hand tools and power tools safely and effectivelyMaintaining a clean and safe work environment on siteCommunicating effectively with supervisors, clients and other team members to ensure project requirements are understood and metCompleting work within agreed timelines and budgets whilst maintaining high standards of qualityWhat we're looking forA current and valid carpentry qualification or apprenticeship certification recognised in QueenslandProven experience as a qualified carpenter, ideally with exposure to both residential and commercial projectsStrong knowledge of timber varieties, materials, tools and construction techniquesAbility to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specificationsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishesPhysical fitness and ability to work safely at heights and in various weather conditionsA valid driver's licence and reliable transport to access multiple job sitesStrong communication skills and a professional, reliable attitudeFamiliarity with relevant building codes and safety standards in Queensland is highly valuedWhat we offerAt Bossco Building and Maintenance, we value our team members and provide a supportive working environment where skilled tradespeople can excel.
