This role provides an added layer of customer service, assessing customers' needs and initiating a warm handoff to all services.
Work is performed under the supervision of the Deputy Director.Your Impact on Career TEAM's SuccessServe as the primary initial liaison between customers and the services provided within the Workforce Solutions CentersGreet visitors warmly and ensure they are comfortableTriage customers to ensure their needs are met and exceptional customer service is provided to all individualsAssist customers with computer use and online assessmentsCritique resumes and letters of introduction, and provide job search assistance and resources to individuals in the resource roomRe-engage customers by discussing the range of available services and their potential benefitsDeliver dynamic presentations both in person and virtuallyCreate workshop schedules and invite partners to present based on participant needsCall customers waiting for a space and book them a room to meet inProvide and train on resources available within the Center for customers and staff alikeEnsure the resource area is tidy and welcoming for customersCoordinate office activitiesRequest feedback from customers to continually improve the customer experienceApproach each day and task with a "ZAG" mindsetOther duties and projects as neededThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location and within the community.To Qualify for This Role, You Must HaveAssociate's degree required, or comparable experienceKnowledge of the WIOA, TANF, and SNAP programs and other workforce program requirementsAbility to listen to customers, analyze expressed needs, and use good judgment in suggesting solutions or next stepsComfortable assisting customers with computers and office equipment (copier, printer, and similar)Ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse customer base and be culturally sensitiveAbility to meet and/or exceed set goals and objectivesExcellent interpersonal, time management, customer service, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written)A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, and maintaining a high level of confidentialityAdherence to the principles of Extreme Customer Service in all interactions with internal and external customersA Valid Driver's LicenseAdditional Skills/Knowledge Career TEAM Would Love for This RoleBilingual or MultilingualStrong multitasking abilities and proactive approach to tasksTraining in Trauma Informed Care, evidence-based practice, empathy driven service deliveryTravelAs neededAbout Career TeamFounded in ****, Career Team,
