With more than 160 buses and coaches and depots across South East Queensland, we continue to grow and invest in our people, facilities and fleet.We are currently seeking a qualified and reliable automotive spray painter to join our in-house Paint & Panel Workshop at our Burpengary Depot.This is a workshop-based role in supporting the repair, restoration and ongoing upkeep of our KBL Coach and Bus fleet.If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in the quality of your work and have qualifications and trade experience with spray painting, we'd love to hear from you.About the RoleYou will be responsible for preparing and spray painting our fleet of coaches and buses, ensuring all work meets a high standard of finish.Surface preparation including sanding, filling and maskingSpray painting,
priming and finishingInspecting completed work and correcting any imperfectionsMaintaining a clean and safe workshopManaging and logging job completions on in-house computer systemsAbout YouPrevious spray-painting experience is essential (experience in spray painting heavy vehicles, trucks, trailers or machinery is highly regarded)Strong preparation and finishing skillsExcellent attention to detailReliable with a strong work ethicHR & Forklift Licence is desirableKangaroo Bus Lines is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and our people represent the community which we service.
