Due to company growth an chance exists for a Trade Qualified Fitter Turner/Machinist, having sound experience with the operation of Manual and CNC including:Lathe's and milling machinesProgramming experienceCNC programming experience at any level is acceptableSetting and operating CNC Mills/Lathes with Fanuc ControllersTo be successful in this role you MUST also possess the following skills and abilities:Trade qualified Fitter Turner or Machinist, ideally with at least 3 years post trade experienceExperience in general fitting and machining with stainless and/or mild steel.Experience with either stainless steel or mild steel is acceptableAbility to work unassisted, work to deadlines and produce quality workmanship at all times.Ability to read and follow drawings and work to tight tolerancesA team player with a good attitude who is not afraid of a challengeHave a great work ethic with a "can do" attitudeBe reliable and willing to commit to the roleBe comfortable in operating more than one machine at a timeAustralian work rights are either acceptable or sponsorship may be available
