The Company
Based in South Windsor, our client is a busy meat manufacturing and processing facility looking for an experienced Electrical Fitter to join their maintenance team.
Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:
Diagnose and assist with the repair of electrical faults on production equipmentSafely disconnect and reconnect motors, drives and plant equipmentCarry out preventative and corrective maintenanceAssist with the installation,



replacement and commissioning of electrical componentsRead and interpret electrical drawings and technical manualsComplete maintenance recordsRespond to maintenance calls and breakdown requestsParticipate in shutdowns, plant upgrades and after-hours breakdownsWork safely while complying with WHS, GMP and food safety requirements
The successful candidate will require the following attributes:
Electrical trade qualification or proven experience in industrial maintenanceSolid electrical background with experience assisting with electrical fault findingExperience working alongside licensed electriciansManufacturing or processing experienceGood mechanical aptitude and the ability to carry out routine maintenance and repairsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsProactive attitude and valuable work ethicAbility to work independently and as part of a team
Hours & Rates:
Day shift hours: Flexible start and finish timesRate: $60 per hour + overtime + superWe request that candidates have full Australian working rights.
