approvals and documentationSupporting employees and managers with finance and payroll queriesMaintaining accurate financial records and workpapersLet's Be Honest About the Role...A significant part of this role involves working with people.You'll spend a lot of time:Chasing outstanding informationFollowing up managers and employeesExplaining finance and payroll requirementsHelping people complete forms and processes correctlyAnswering questionsSending remindersFollowing up again when the first reminder didn't workAt times, it may feel like you're a coordinator, administrator, trainer, coach and professional nag all rolled into one.The right person will enjoy this part of the job.
The wrong person will find it frustrating.What We're Looking ForYou'll likely have:At least 2 years' experience in an Assistant Accountant, Finance Coordinator or similar roleExperience performing reconciliations accurately and independentlyStrong Excel and systems skillsExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsThe confidence to follow people up while maintaining positive working relationshipsA proactive, self-directed approach to workThe patience to support non-finance stakeholders through financial processes and requirementsHighly DesirableDegree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or similar (or working towards)Diploma in Accounting or related fieldExperience with Business Central, Power BI, Power Automate or similar business systemsAbout UsYou'll join a small,
