Are you a physiotherapist looking for a flexible part-time role where you can make a genuine difference in the community?
Harmony Physiotherapy is a family-run allied health business providing mobile physiotherapy services across the Gold Coast.
We are looking for a Part-Time Community Physiotherapist to join our friendly and supportive team for a minimum of 22 hours per week.
This is a mobile role supporting predominantly older adults in their homes and community settings through Support at Home and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP).
Our focus is on helping clients maintain their mobility, independence and quality of life.
About the Role
As a Community Physiotherapist, you will provide high-quality, person-centred physiotherapy services to clients across the Gold Coast.
Your role will include:
Completing physiotherapy assessments and providing individualised treatment and rehabilitation
Developing treatment plans focused on mobility, strength, balance, function and independence
Falls prevention, gait and mobility training, strengthening and rehabilitation
Supporting older Australians receiving services through Support at Home and CHSP
Providing education and advice to clients, families and carers
Liaising with families, care providers and other health professionals
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical notes, reports and documentation
Managing your client schedule with support from our administration team
About You
We are looking for someone who is caring, reliable and enjoys working independently in the community.
You will need:
Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Current National Police Check
Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain upon commencement
Appropriate vaccinations and screening relevant to community and aged care work
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and clinical documentation skills
A compassionate and person-centred approach
Confidence working independently within the community
Experience with Nookal or similar practice management software is desirable
Experience in community physiotherapy, aged care, Support at Home, CHSP or rehabilitation would be highly regarded; however, graduates are also welcome to apply.
