Louis Dreyfus Company is seeking an Assistant Ginner to join our team in Moree, NSW.
In this role, you will be supported, mentored, and trained by experienced teammates and the Site Manager while becoming part of the local community and developing valuable long-term skills.
As an Assistant Ginner, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, effective, and effective operation of all areas under your responsibility.Key responsibilities will be but not limited to:Gin operation and safetyAssist in maintaining the physical appearance of the gin siteMaintenance - constantly monitor and maintain machinery and equipment to the highest standard to facilitate continuity of production and quality.Employee supervisionWork permits - Assist ginner and site management with ensuring work permits are completed for all high-risk activityEssential skillsMechanical experience or trade backgroundAbility to identify/control weaknesses in process and implement best practicesSelf-starter with the ability to work independently takes initiative and challenges when requiredGood work ethic and team playerAbility and willingness to interact effectively with all levels of employees and external stakeholdersExcellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracyDesired but not essential skillsPrior experience supervising staff in a maintenance/production environmentSound computer skillsAdditional InformationLINK: Perk & BenefitsURL: ?
